Students pay more attention to their grades at the end of the nine weeks. Students pay attention even more, when the end of the nine weeks is upon them. They try to find extra credit in any ways, and those who do not study, do for one last chance to bring their grades up. Teachers are stricter about deadlines, so they are not behind. Some teachers stop putting grades in a week before the end of the nine weeks. That way, there is no fuss about grades when the time comes around.

My first advice is do not try and bump your grade at the last minute. If a student is a close to a higher grade, and is a good student in class they will most likely bump the grade. Teachers, are there to help out, and even willing to help an eager student. Teachers are there to help, let their students grow, and there when they are needed. Teachers know when a student is trying to scavenge the most points, and tend to lean away. That way, the student learns to study, and care about their education.

Secondly, a student should seek out the help of a student’s friends. If a student does not like studying, their friends could help make it a little more fun. People have different ways of studying, so a student will get a different view to understand the subject better. Friends, can also offer advice, and are a great way to quiz before the test. Studying in a group also has the same effects with even more viewpoints, and help. My friend is really good at government, and I am not. She not only helps me understand what is happening, but makes it way enjoyable. Friends are an amazing way to get good grades, so a student can be stress free going into the end of the nine weeks.

As a student, all you can do is your best. Do not give up over one simple bad grade, try harder, and give it your all. Grades will change, and so will you.
