The terror of killer clowns has escalated with Halloween 2016 being around the corner. There are speculations of creepy clowns taking advantage of the celebrations and attacking the crowd.

Teenagers are under great threat with a rumored message circulating on social media that claimed that clown purge will continue to terrorize the population during the October Halloween celebrations. Following news reports claiming clown attacks ahead of the celebration, police have issued a warning for the public to be careful.

Though the reports are being considered as rumors, it is likely for them to turn true as it will be easier for the creepy clowns to attack the crowd anonymously during a costume-driven event. Clown Hunters published a warning on October 12 alarming teens and adults regarding the alleged attack being planned by killer clowns before Halloween.

“WARNING clowns are allegedly planning their own purge the night before Halloween. Stay inside, keep all pets inside and keep all doors and windows locked. Share this post with your family and friends!” the warning message stated.

There are various Twitter users who have claimed October 30 to be the day of the attack planned by killer clowns with special mentions of Lehigh valley regions. However, reports have suggested that no “intelligence reports” have yet been received from authorities regarding the terror alert. New Jersey Police Captain Laurence Martin and Fair Lawn Police Sergeant, on the other hand, have requested the people to remain careful. They also asked them to report if they find anything suspicious around.

Whatever warnings have been received regarding the killer clowns, they don’t specify if the terror is restricted to a particular area, town, city, or state. As no such incident has been reported,

“Unlike previous viral purge panics, we haven’t been able to find any indication that police in any jurisdiction have even bothered to address the clown purge rumors. During prior outbreaks of ‘purge’ scares, local police typically weighed into either pledge a close watch or debunk the rumors,” Earn The Necklace quoted Scopes report.

Rumor or not, please stay safe this Halloween as anything could happen, Stay inside, keep your doors locked. If you see something strange report it.
