Clarksville Lions Club has selected Michael Pochron as its student of the month for November.

Pochron, son of Mark and Lori Pochron of Rices Landing, maintains a 3.29 GPA.

Pochron is a four-year member of the Waynesburg Rifle Team.

He is a four-year member of the Jefferson Morgan Band, section leader for the drum line, and serves as president.

As a member of Leo Club, Pochron has rung bells for the Salvation Army, volunteered at various spaghetti dinners, and helped maintain the Leo Club’s assigned road for the Keep America Beautiful campaign.

In the fall, Pochron plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania to study literature and history, as well as earn a minor in special education.

“Once I spend some time in the classroom, I plan to earn my principal certification,” says Pochron in reference to his future plans.
