Gage Clark is a sophomore at Jefferson-Morgan High School and plays centerfield and pitcher for the high school baseball team.

Gage isn’t the only one in his family that has played or plays baseball. His brother plays baseball and his dad played. He has been playing baseball for many years now. His favorite memory from last year’s season is, “Pitching against Bentworth because I only gave up 2 hits”.

Clark is looking forward to two games this season. Those are the California and Carmichaels games. Gage’s goals for this season are to make all section/district.

There’s many different reasons to enjoy playing baseball or just enjoying baseball in general. “To get better and move on after high school,” said Gage. He likes baseball because it’s his chance to become a better player. He plans on playing baseball for the rest of his high school experience and hopefully after high school too.

Gage hopes to fulfill his goals in this season. He wants to go further in life with continuing to play baseball.
