Makenzie Wright is an outside hitter the participates on the Jefferson-Morgan Volleyball Team.

This is Makenzie’s third year participating in volleyball. Her team and individual goals for the season are to beat Carmichaels. Wright was asked what advice she would offer to students who wish to participate in volleyball, she said, “never walk on the court, always hustle and never give up.”

She enjoys playing volleyball with the team because it is a lot of fun. She looks up to Kayla Yorko because she is a leader, and can learn a lot just by watching her play.

Makenzie hope to keep participating in volleyball for the rest of high school. “I am excited for the Carmichaels game because they are our biggest rivals.”
