Erin Confortini- Athlete Biography
Erin Confortini is a sophomore and a setter/ right side hitter for the volleyball team.
Erin definitely has a favorite memory. When asked what it was she said “beating Carmichaels last year at home.” It was one of the biggest games of the year, winning best of 5. Since the volleyball team won, it got them to sections. Erin was also asked about her performance. She said she’s most happy with her performance is “when the coach tells me I play well.”
Confortini has played for four years and likes the sport to keep in shape. For some athletes their jersey number has a meaning to them, but not for Erin. Her number might not have a meaning to her, but her team does. Erin’s goal for the season is for the team to get section title.
Erin finds the sport very rewarding. “It is the most rewarding when our team succeeds.” She also has a favorite coach. When asked who, she says “Mrs. Olson because she doesn’t pick favorites and is fair.”
Confortini also offers this advice for future volleyball players: “Practice hard. Volleyball is a very challenging sport and requires lots of practice, so never give up.”
