Erik Sullenbarger – Athlete Biography
Erik Sullenbarger is a freshman and a left outside-midfielder for the soccer team for Jefferson Morgan.
For this season, Erik doesn’t have any personal goal because he has team goals. When asked what his goals were he said, “For the team to do the best that we can.” He states that some teams are more challenging than others, so that would definitely require a team effort for games. Erik isn’t a lone bird when it comes to playing soccer; he’s definitely a team player.
Erik has played for seven years so far and says he has always loved soccer. He is also very content with his performances throughout the season. His best performance was at Monessen.
Erik says his best performance was at Monessen. It was the best performance because “We beat them so bad and I scored 3 goals.” Soccer requires a lot of running. “For other students who want to participate in this sport, you would need to be in shape,” said Erik.
