Cameron Zeo – Athlete Biography
Cameron Zeo is a junior and plays middle and left back for volleyball.
Cameron has been participating in volleyball for 5 years. When asked what goals she has for the season, she responded with “improve my passing.” Cameron would not like to play volleyball after highschool. Carmichaels is Jefferson-Morgan’s rival, so it is no surprise me when almost every athlete wants to beat them. This is what Cameron looks forward to in the season.
The most difficult aspect of volleyball is the fear of messing up. Cameron thinks that if you mess up, you’d be letting the whole team down. She likes the team aspect of volleyball because they can help each other out. Working Hard and having fun are two things Cameron would tell kids that are interested in volleyball.
When asked what her best game was, she said “Our game last year against Giebel because it was probably my best performance.” For this performance, Cameron thought her passing was really good. Cameron likes being with the team. The most rewarding part is getting to work together. Cameron doesn’t look up to any athlete at the moment.
Some goals Cameron has for the future are to work on her passing and to overall improve. I wish her and the team good luck in the season.
