I Prevail is an American metalcore band formed in Southfield, Michigan. They released their extended play “Hearts Vs Mind” on January 24, 2016. I Prevail’s popularity increased after posting a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” to YouTube in December 2014.

Once the band posted the cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” to YouTube, it peaked at number 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number 23 on the US Mainstream Rock Songs chart. As of today the song reached 30 million views on Youtube.

On March 22 Warped Tour announced their band lineups, and I just casually looked through them without knowing I Prevail would be performing. I Prevail was on a leaked Facebook video, the video contained the band performing on the Warped Tour stage and it said coming this summer.

I have all of their albums and songs on my phone including the cover of Blank Space. I’m pretty  excited to watch them live July 14 as well as the other bands I listen to. The rest of the lineup is looking pretty good for Warped Tour 2017.
