During the month of December my family and I seem to get closer. We do a lot of special activities and go to fun places together. Some things that we do are ice skating, sled riding, and walking around looking at decorations.

Every year my family and I go ice skating, it’s almost like our tradition. We go ice skating in Pittsburgh around the big tree, my mother usually lets us bring friends so I do not have to skate around with my brother the whole time, but no matter who I bring it is always fun.

I love going sled riding with my friends and family. It is so  much fun to race down the hill on your sled , the only thing that I do not like about it is the boring walk back up the hill. One of the best parts of it is forcing your parents to go and then watching them wipe out at the bottom

My favorite December activity that we do is walking around and looking at decorations. The holiday decorations are always so fun to look at. We don’t really go all out for our house. We usually just put up lights and a couple of reindeer. I really like the decorations that play music or movies, I just think that those are really festive.
