Spring is a good time of the year for me. Spring and fall are my two favorite seasons. There are a lot of things I like about springtime. I love the flowers, the smell of freshly cut grass, the buds coming up on the trees, the rain and the storms.

Flowers are beautiful little things. They look beautiful and smell wonderful. Besides thorns on roses, there really is not anything I do not like about flowers. When spring approaches, dandelions pop up in my yard like crazy! All anyone could see is yellow throughout the entire yard! As a child I would take a brown paper bag and fill it to the top with dandelions for my mother. They would be ugly and shriveled up the by the next day, so I would take another bag and fill it with dandelions all over again. I would pick all sorts of flowers for people. Dandelions for my mother so we could draw with them on stones, cute little yellow flowers for my sister, little blue flowers for my brothers, and white flowers for my dad.

The smell of spring is a wonderful smell to me. There is the smell of rain, flowers, and freshly cut grass all mixed together. If I could sit outside and sniff the air all day I would do it everyday. I love to buy things that contain spring scents during this time of the year. I like buy things like lotion, soap, air fresheners, candles, etc. Floral smells are one of the favorite smells.

Springtime is a beautiful time of the year. Flowers are starting to come up, buds are starting to pop up on the trees and bushes, and the grass is getting greener. One thing many people tend to not like about spring is the rain. They do not like it because it is cold, it makes the air muggy and humid, and most of the time rain clouds cause the sky to become grey and dark. Rain is one of my favorite things that happen pertaining to the weather. It calms me down to listen to it and to watch it fall. When it rains I like to do the things I did as a child, which are jumping in puddles and playing outside in the rain.

I would prefer it to be springtime all year round. The weather is not too bad or cold, wonderful springtime smells appear, and flowers and buds start popping up!
