Since October has just begun, a variety of scary movies are coming out! October gives us fun and scary things to think about the whole month. One of the biggest things would have to be the movies. Old classics are being re-done as new ones are just popping up. Since Halloween is a big holiday with scary things and thrillers, a few new good movies are being released.

A few good horror movies that are being re-made are It, Annabelle; The Creation,  and Jigsaw. The movies were once very popular when the originals and/or first one was produced. The reviews of all of the movies seemed to be at a pretty good ranking. A viewer of the new movie, It, had mentioned, “It was an effective horror film that is enjoyed from start to finish!” on the website Rotten Tomatoes.

Even though the good classics are coming out, there are still new movies that are great for this season. Movies like, Happy Death Day, Get Out, and Aliens: Covenant are being hyped up for some of the best horror movies out this year.

The reviews of all of the movies seemed to be at a pretty good and high ranking. The movie, as told from plenty who have seen it, was a terrifyingly-funny horror movie.

Halloween brings out some of the best movies and shows. A few good shows for to binge watch during October, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, and Stranger Things will do just the trick. All three of the shows are currently the most popular viewed shows during the month of September, October and November. Some movies get viewers excited for the new ones and some make people want to keep watching it over and over. A film trilogy that was huge in 2013-2016, would be The Purge. There are three different ones but they are all based on the same event. There is The Purge, The Purge: Anarchy, and The Purge: Election Day. So far it is being told that in 2018, a new Purge will be coming out. It is said to be called, The Purge: The Island. Not many know exactly what it will fully be about but there are some clues!

Clearly, October is a great time for movies and horror. It is one of the best times of the year for celebrating things that are scary and that is not usually on the ordinary. October is also a great time to cozy up in your home and watch a few thriller/horror classics for the day.
