Veterans Day Parade

On Sunday, November 11th 2018 Waynesburg held their annual Veterans Day Parade.

The parade started at 10:45 A.M. and was held on High Street. At exactly 11:00 A.M. the parade came to a halt and the bell of the court house rang 11 times exactly to remember those forgotten. Jacklyn Smith of Mt. Morris sang the National Anthem.

JM student, Madison Kovach, took part in the parade as the 2018 Greene County Fair Queen.

Some others who were involved in the parade were the Waynesburg Centeral and Margaret Bell Miller Middle School marching Band, West Greene marching Band, 2018 Miss Rain Day (Loren Schryoer), Waynesburg V.F. W. and American Legion Colorguard, Greene County Commissioner Blair Zimmerman, Greene County 4-H, 2018 Coal Queen (Holly Lesko), 2018 Baby Rain Day Princess (Evee Loring). Rocky Ride Acres, Laurel Valley Corvette Club and Steel City Vettes, Mason Dixon Crew Mustang Club, and much more!
