Star actor Ed Westwick of the hit show “Gossip Girl” has recently been accused of a sexual misconduct charge from actress Kristina Cohen. The incident happened three years ago.

The day of the alleged sexual assault, Cohen was introduced by her boyfriend/producer at the time to Westwick at his apartment for dinner. After multiple sexual comments towards Cohen from Westwick, Cohen mentioned that she was tired in order to find an excuse to leave. Westwick offered her a room in his apartment to rest. According to The Rolling Stone, Cohen stated in an interview that “I was woken abruptly by Ed on top on me, his fingers entering my body….I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me.”

“The incident that occurred to Cohen cannot be blamed on her,” said Kaylee Marion. “Sure, she could have left after the sexual comments, but she didn’t want to be a rude guest. He still shouldn’t have raped her.”

According to The Rolling Stone, Westwick stated, “I have never forced myself in any manner on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.” The producer that Cohen met Westwick through told her not to say anything or “Ed will have people come after me, destroy me, and that I could forget about an acting career,” said Cohen.

When asked about who was most at fault Brynn Boyd stated “Of course Westwick is at fault, no matter what he is the one the allegedly raped her, but the producer that Cohen came with can also be to blame. If what Cohen said about him saying that she should keep her mouth shut is true, he could be in serious trouble.”

As of today, there is an investigation underway but no guarantees have been made. If what Cohen says happened is true, Westwick will face legal issues and will struggle to find new job opportunities. He will also lose the faith of his fans and jeopardize the popularity of “Gossip Girl.”Any new and updated information can be found at http://www.rollingstone.com.
