After school on Thursday, November 30th, an Upward Bound meeting was held in Mrs. Fulks room.

At the meeting, Marnie Hall from California University’s Upward Bound Office and Ryan Romanosky, an Upward Bound alumni, worked with the students. At the meeting Romanosky, Hall, and Mrs. Fulks helped the attendees with their social skills, homework, and their future classes.

Upward Bound is an American education program. UB’s intended goal is to help high school students prepare for and attend college. During the 2017-2018 school year there will be 19, Thursday meetings held after school.
