Connor Alcorn named Clarksville Lions Club December Student of the Month

Clarksville Lions Club has selected Connor Alcorn as its student of the month for December.

Alcorn, a son of Francesca and Charles Alcorn of Waynesburg, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where he maintains a 4.44 GPA.

He is a member of National Honor Society (treasurer), Science Olympiad, Envirothon, Academic League, Debate Team, Peer Jury, STEM, and STEAM.  He is also on the reading competition team for Library Club.

Alcorn is a recipient of the Robert E. Titus Educational Award and the Challenge Program Community Service Award.

Alcorn tutors at Bowlby Public Library. He assists in after-school tutoring at the high school.

Alcorn will attend the University of Pittsburgh. He plans to become a freelance author and perhaps start a gaming company.  He also has an interest in urban planning.
