Mason Palmer is a freshman at Jefferson-Morgan High School who participates on the Jefferson-Morgan track team.

This is Mason’s first year being a part of the track team. He is a part of three different events; 4×8 relay, the mile, and 800 meter run. The event he considers his favorite is the mile. “I like to push myself and the mile lets me do that,” said Palmer. What he likes about being a part of the track team is it’s fun and everyone has a good time together.

Palmer is looking forward to all the meets this season and what challenges he will face. Mason enjoys being on the team because everyone is like one big happy family.

Mason’s has some goals for this season. Some of them are to take 2^nd in the mile and to take 1^st in the 4×8 relay. “My only reason for second in the mile is because Aaron Mylan also participates in the mile,” he said. He’s very supportive of his teammates and treats them as if they’re all family.

Palmer plans on being a part of the track team for his whole high school experience. He’s a supportive teammate and likes to push himself. He likes being on the team and hopes to achieve his goals.
