Tyler’s favorite event that she competes in is the 100 meter. She also participates in the 200 meter and the 4×1 relay.

“The 100 meter is my favorite event because I love sprinting,” Woolen also states, “Running is something that I love doing. I have been running ever since I can remember.”

Tyler enjoys track for a variety of reasons. She loves that she is able to do the one thing she loves, running, but she also enjoys that it allows her to meet new and interesting people. It also gives her a chance to make some new and interesting memories during her high school career.

“The people are super friendly and the coaches are pretty cool. It is nice getting along with people who I do not usually associate with.”

Although Tyler love track she acknowledges that the hardest part of track is the training.

She states that the hardest part about being track is, “Training and working for it. It is hard and tiring but it is worth it during the meets.”
