Athlete Article – Michael Ludrosky

Michael Ludrosky is sophomore and first-year member of the wrestling team.

Ludrosky’s father encouraged him to join wrestling; he thought he would be great and wanted to see his son thrive. Mr. Lesko was a big motivation in Ludrosky joining wrestling because he needed a heavy weight on the team.

“My dad really helped push me to join wrestling, and I am really glad he did. Lesko needed a heavy weight, and I was happy to contribute to the team,” Ludrosky explained.

Being that Ludrosky is a sophomore and a first-year wrestler, he is a bit nervous. He is very determined to work better and practice to be a better wrestler.

“I’m kind of looking forward to this season, but I’m kind of not. I am nervous since everyone that I will face will have more experience than me, and most of the guys are bigger than me. I am excited to see how I’ll improve throughout the season,” says Ludrosky.

Ludrosky’s made some excellent goals for this season. He plans to better himself and give 100% in every match and in every practice.

“I’ve made some goals to gain stamina, I plan to work hard and push myself to do my best. Lesko is a great coach, and he knows how to push me and everyone on the team to get better. He is one of the most fun coaches I have ever had,” said Ludrosky.

The wrestling team gained a very determined and hard-working sophomore this year. Despite his nerves, Ludrosky is looking forward to the season and putting his all into every match.
