    Justin Maddich is a member of the Jefferson-Morgan baseball team and is a freshman.

    Justin Maddich’s favorite part about playing baseball is everything about the sport. He enjoys playing his opponents and traveling to different places for the games. His most memorable experience while playing baseball was this year when he hit his first high school base hit.

    Maddich said, “The first year I started playing baseball was in 2008, my dad made me sign up because I did not play any other sports at the time.”

    Justin Maddich plays 2 different positions in baseball. He plays center field and catcher. He is good at both of the positions.

    Maddich said, “I prepare in the off-season by running, lifting, and by playing other sports.” He said that “the sports he plays helps with different aspects.”

    Maddich likes playing baseball because he enjoys playing sports with his friends. He also enjoys playing on a good team and he likes to have fun with all of his team mates during the season.

    Justin Maddich says, “ Mike Trout (Los Angeles Angels) and Andrew McCutchen (Pittsburgh Pirates) are the baseball role models that I look up to every year, they are the two most dominant players in the MLB.”

    Maddich says that baseball helps with other sports that he plays because he gets better with hand eye coordination and endurance.
